Headstone Ordering Process
Our team will get to work on a proof Immediately after receiving your order. Once we're convinced our design team has interpreted your order correctly, we'll send that proof to you for your approval and verify with your cemetery that your chosen stone will meet their guidelines. This process is generally pretty easy and can be done entirely over email. Of course, we're happy to discuss if you have any questions and prefer to talk on the phone.
Once we have your approval on the proof, we get to work. In many cases, the stone will need to be cut and we'll start with any inscriptions that you've included in your design. For most stones, delivery can be expected between 6 and 8 weeks from the date of your proof approval. For some of our other stones, we can offer a "quick ship" option. If the artwork is not overly complex, we keep an inventory of common gravestone shapes and sizes which allows us to go to work on your customization immediately and in some cases, have stones delivered within a week or two of the date your proof is approved.
Shipping Methods, Time to Delivery & Costs
We can ship to virtually any address in the world but we are able to offer free shipping only to our customers in the lower-48 United States. While some of our smaller markers and pet memorials use common domestic carriers like the United States Postal Service, FedEx and United Parcel Service, all of our large headstones are shipping via LTL freight carriers.
Once your order is ready to ship, you will receive a notification from us that the shipment is en route. Barring unforeseen circumstances, your order will ship directly from our craftsmen in East Tennessee to the cemetery you selected. Generally, shipping times are 1-3 days anywhere east of the Mississippi River and 4-5 days anywhere in the western part of the United States.
Delivery & Installation of Headstones
On most of our headstones and memorials, we are happy to offer free ground shipping to the location of your choice. We ship via freight carriers and do all we can to ensure your order arrives in pristine condition. We do ask that you inspect your order prior to accepting delivery from the carrier. In the event your order was damaged in transit, we will replace your order at no cost to you.
For large markers, installation can be a daunting task. After all, it's not uncommon for large headstones to weigh more than a ton! We recognize most people don't have the cranes and other heavy machinery necessary to install a headstone themselves. Because of that, we're committed to helping you find a credible installation professional in the area you'd like the headstone delivered. In fact, we'll even work with them to coordinate delivery and take a lot of the legwork out of the process for you.
Smaller headstones and memorials are fairly easy to install but we do have a process we recommend so that your monument will look good for generations to come. We can offer a free step-by-step guide that takes you through the process of mounting your headstone successfully. For our trained crews, an installation generally takes about 45 minutes. We recommend inexperienced headstone installers allow themselves a couple hours to ensure you're following the instructions accurately to get the look you want from your memorial.
Returns & Replacements
Because of the extreme level of customization that is included with our headstones, we do not offer returns on headstones that match the proof you approved. If, for some reason, your approved proof does not match the headstone that is delivered we deem ourselves responsible and will expedite a replacement shipment to your cemetery to make it right.
However, we are happy to cancel your order prior to your proof being approved. To do so, just be sure to email our team or give us a call and we'll be happy to assist.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions
We're happy to accept all major credit cards via our website (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). From time to time, granite suppliers will offer special discounts on headstones and other markers. When this occurs, we try to pass along the savings to our customers. Because of this, our prices may fluctuate from time to time.
Once you you place your order you will receive a proof of the design. Once you have approved that proof, our team will go to work crafting the stone. When your headstone is ready to ship, you will receive a shipping notification that lets you know the memorial is in-transit. From there, you'll receive a tracking number where you can get an estimated date of delivery.
Updating Account Information
